A long ride....!

This is my last weekend before exams (this semester). So I planned to go on a long ride in outskirts of Banglore with my friends. We started at 8 am in the morning. We chose Hosur Road for the ride. I feel, I don't need to tell much about this ride because of these pictures. I clicked them whenever I found something colouful and intresting...!These are some of the best pics...

How does this tree look like?? A half eaten apple or a kangaroo..??

Trees filled with purple flowers had an aesthetic appeal and  portraied nature's peace...

We returned around 12.00 noon to the city. We had fresh coconut water and tender coconut on our way. It was a great ride and we made new friends too...

Khao galli (V.V.Puram),Bangalore

Its Saturday evening, we had classes till late in the afternoon. I felt boring and hungry. I asked my friend if  she can come out with me. But we didn't think of any place to eat. I remembered a place called Khao galli (in slang) and actually called V.V Puram.

We found lots of street stuff like different kinds of chat, sweets, savouries and tiffin centres. We started feasting our tummies with delicious Jalebis...They looked shiny with jeera all around. They were sweet, hot and a bit sour....!!

Then we moved on to Ghee Paper dosa stall. After having dosa, we walked on the road and stared at all the stuff...We then decided to have Pineapple masala corn and  Chakodi chat..! I would like to upload the pics of these chats in this post..!!

My tummy was full after eating all this. I was feeling thirsty, so decided to have a drink..I ordered for a 'masala Fanta'...! It was a glass of Fanta with few drops of lemon and jaljeera powder. Finally had some palm fruits and ended the feast with jalebi again...!

Exploring Seven Hills...!

I visited Tirumala with friends recently. I have been there many times. But this time I felt something exciting and different apart from piligrimage. We had time after our darshan to explore. We had lunch and then planned to go out for sight seeing. We hired a jeep and visited 3 tourist attractions of Tirumala.

The three places are Sreevari paadalu, Silathoranam and Chakra theertham. The way to Srivari paadalu is one of the most memorable ones. The scenery and view of the main temple made us feel great. I want to upload some of the pics to this post...

After enjoying the scenery of forest in Srivari Paadam, we headed to Silathoranam and Chakra theertham. Silathoranam is the world's second popular natural rock decoration. Scientists and Archaeologists found that, the rocks here are 250 years old..!!

Chakra theertham is at walkable distance from Silathoranam. There is a temple of lord Shiva (swayambu). There was a rocky pathway to reach the temple. Chakra theertham is a waterfalls with clear and splashy waters..

Last but not the least, one of my friends has good photography skills.I uploaded some of his pics in this post. A special thanks to him from my side...Great friends with Great skills are making my life happier every day...

The last pic I uploaded has two giant squirrels almost in the size of a monkey with long tails playing on a tree. This was really unbelievable and I felt it was some super natural creature when I saw them for the first tym....Had a great travel experience, learnt new things while exploring....memorable trip it was..!!

An outing to Banneraghatta National park

Our End term exams started in the end of August and continued till first week of this month. After the exams, our classes started with new trimester and new subjects. We started planning for an outing on the following weekend.I searched for tourist places around Bangalore on Google. After some discussions, we decided to visit Banneraghatta National park which is about 22km on south from the city.

We started at 8.30am in the morning and reached the place by 9.30 am.We stopped at tree corner small tiffin stall, which has got the authenticity of being in a village & had a simple breakfast. On reaching the destination, we went to the ticket counter. There we saw tickets for Safari,Zoo park and Butterfly gardens. We bought the safari and zoo park picket.

I didn't have any expectation to see most of the wildlife during safari. But I spotted so many animals like deers, Lions,Tigers,Bears etc., It was very exciting to see wild creatures crossing the road very close to the vehicle.I was able to capture pics of all the species on our journey...

I saw two lions playing joyfully deep in the green grass. Its the most amazing sight I ever experienced in my life.I spotted a lion roaring and ready to attack.I felt that I was on a shoot for National Geographic channel.I would like to upload some pics here...

This park has good tiger reserve. There are about 40 tigers in the safari area. There are varieties of tigers like White tigers and Bengal Tigers.I am uploading pics of 3 tigers taking a morning walk....

After an hour of safari ride, we then went to butterfly garden and zoo park. After a long walk,we returned back at 4pm in the evening. On our way to city, stopped at a kebab corner and had delicious chicken kebabs and reached hostel by 5.30pm.....

Trip to Nandi Hills

Last week,I went on a trip to Nandi Hills with four of my friends. Its a scenic hill station located on an  altitude of 4851 feet above sea level. It is about 60km from Bangalore. The name Nandi hills originated from 'nandidurga'.Traditionally this palce is called 'kushmandagiri' since there were six rivers flowing in near about this hillock during ancient times.

We started at 6 am in the morning and reached there around 7 am. The ghat road journey was really superb and no words to describe the weather, view and fresh air of woods and mountains. It was not like a place on the earth..!!

After reaching the tip of the hillock, we went to Tippu Sultan's lodge, a TV tower, Flower gardens, Temple and Bamboo tree house. The climate was not sunny, it was purely luck. Moreover the place is clean and green.

After spending about four hours roaming, jumping, climbing and enjoying we returned back to Bangalore. We reached the city exactly at 1pm. We went for lunch to an andhra restaurant and had a delicious tommy full lunch. It was a great day with fun and excitement....!!! One of the most memorable days after joining BSchool..!

Just felt like Clicking...!!!

After attending the classes, I felt lonely and bored. So visited my friend's place and spent some time there. While returning to hostel, it started drizzling. Weather here changes for every minute. When I came to campus,it was bit sunny with cool breeze. Everything around me looked beautiful at this moment...

Inspired by my surroundings, I started clicking my cell phone cam randomly. I spent sometime in enjoying the nature and it gave me a great pleasure.I would like to upload some of my favourite pics in this post.

After walking for a while ,I reached hostel. I have a beautiful view of coconut trees from the window of my room. I feel like drinking coconut water whenever I peep through my window. Now I captured them in my phone...

After successful nature's photo shoot, relaxed in room for a while and slept for an hour...Finally it was a wonderful experience....!!

Lyf @ BSchool

Things have changed a lot after attending a week of classes here. Its really hard to adjust to the environment here. I made a good number of friends here and enjoying comfortable hostel life at this moment. My day starts around 6.00 am in the morning and ends around 12am..!!! Too busy schedule if I compare the schedule I got used to in my Undergrad. But I am greatly enjoying the weather in Banglore...

There are many interesting things in hostel here. Some of them are Biometric Attendance which takes a retina scan twice a day,a birds park which has a variety of birds and a free wifi connection with facebook and other social networking sites blocked...!!!

This sudden transition is really hard to take on, But I am trying my best to adjust here.I get my homeworks on the e-mail every night after dinner. If I din't check the e-mails once in every 3 hours, then I am screwed in the next days' classes. Some classes are too fast that I cannot understand and some are too slow that I feel bored and sleepy.Every night mom calls me and asks "How was your day?" as usual I answer "good".This is my routine here.

Finally want to end this post now because I have to write a review on a reviewed article...!! Apart from all these, being up to date in current affairs is the most important thing here.So reading newspaper is my routine homework every morning....!

Last week of college

I am in my last week of college.I have mixed feelings which cannot be expressed simultaneously.  I am feeling nostalgic and not able to sleep properly in the nights. My thoughts are haunting me in my dreams.I still remember the orientation which we had four years ago.I remember entering the hostel room with my luggage and saying "hi" to other three unknown people who were my roommates then.I remember the homesick feeling I had at that moment.

The next day was my first day in class.I saw people from different places, languages and cultures. It was all new at that time.I met many people and made friends here. Now, I have a circle for myself which I didn't even imagine that all this would happen when I entered the college.I cannot digest the feeling that I need to leave this place in five days after my final thesis submission. This is where I entered this place and now I have to exit from this gate.......

The green campus which we have spent time after classes and breaks is so appealing and the food court in which we used have lunch, coffee and snacks during our semesters.I miss all the fun we had in this place.I miss the classes and fun we had during class tests and quizzes. The most stressful moments at that time became the most memorable ones now.

I remember the combine studies on a night before exam in hostels with friends and the difficulty of waking up in the morning during 8'o clock classes.I will be missing all the fuss created by warden for a simple signature and the mess food on sundays.Every Sunday we have Masala Dosa as breakfast and Biryani for lunch. This is our all time favorite menu for the whole week.

We went on many trips and movies in these four years. We also brought parcels from the nearby restaurants and ate it in the hostel sometimes. We had birthday treats and placement treats. We enjoyed the pleasure of being friends every moment we met in groups. We had a lot of gossip to share and played variety of games in the hostel.

Now with all these wonderful memories of college life, its not easier to leave this place, friends and fun. This is really a high time for me. This is a "Golden" era of my life.I cannot forget these four years for all my life.I still have so many memories since I cannot quote all of them in one post,I am ending this here.

Finally I want to thank my friends for everything they have done to me and I am really sorry if I have hurt anyone in these years.I am dedicating this post for all my friends who made my life in college so memorable.

Summer Sunday Picnic (Singiri)

I and my friends went on a picnic to a place called Singiri Hills. This place is famous for a temple. This place is 25 km from Katpadi. We took a call taxi to visit this place. We started at 8 am in the morning after having breakfast.

The road was sunny and dusty till the outskirts of Vellore. But after sometime we enjoyed a beautiful village scenery view.We passed through paddy fields and other cultivation land.We had a sight of colourful village atmosphere. We stopped in the roadside and took some photos in the fields.

Then we started our journey to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamys' temple. This temple is located on a rocky hill and a small river flows before the entrance of the temple. As it is summer there was only little water in the river. These waters had a plenty of fish in them.

After spending sometime walking across the river we reached the temple. We proceeded for darshan and had a great darshan. Then we came out of the main temple and the view from here was really good.We sat there for sometime enjoying the cool breeze and had prasadam. The view from the temple is...

We came down the hill and had some snacks and cool drinks. Then we came to know about a zoo nearby from the people in the shop.We decided to visit zoo since we had time till the evening.Amirdhi Zoo is about 5km from Singiri Temple.

We reached there by 11 am.This zoo has a variety of wildlife compared to the other ones in this district. We saw deer, peacocks, crocodile, some kinds of pythons, porcupines, jackals and some birds. We saw a dancing peacock and a tamed deer, which was roaming with a care taker like a pet...!!

After spending some time in the zoo,we started to our hostel. On our way,we stopped near a restaurant inside the town and had lunch. It was almost 2pm when we finished the lunch. Then we returned to the college hostel and took rest.

It was really a great picnic. We all enjoyed to the core both in Singiri and in Amirdhi zoo.At the end of the day it is a wonderful experience and a beautiful memory. This might be my last picnic in the college since my year of study is going to end in another ten days.......
